Are you totally confused where to start? Don’t know how to use a sewing machine?  Perhaps you have a project you’ve started but don’t know how to finish it.  We can show you how!

Timberlake Studios is located in the heart of the garment district just next door to the Fashion Institute of Technology.  We have a team of garment industry and theater costume experienced sewers, tailors and patternmakers.  Our workroom has home and industrial sewing machines and irons, as well as cutting tables and mannequins at your disposal.

Whether you are interested in sewing home decor, children’s clothes, or men’s and women’s garments, our classes can help make your ideas come to life!

Timberlake Studios, Inc. was established in 1996 under the management of Sarah Timberlake; previous and founding owner of the Studio was Betty Vickery Williams in 1964. 

While we provide costume construction and alterations in all areas of entertainment (stage, promotion, and fashion), our specialty is in the area of stretch and/or dancewear.
